Identifies stakeholders and their expectations about the project and contains a preliminary identification of project risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Project Charter is important because it is the document that formally starts the project. This document acts as a contract between the sponsoring organization and the project manager in which the latter agrees to deliver the goods and \/ or services and the first one agrees to provide the resources that the project will produce in a specific time under the quality parameters already agreed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><strong><span class=\"s1\">The Project Charter must contain the following information:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ol class=\"ol1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Project Title and Description<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Objectives of the Project<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Assigned Project Manager and Authority Level<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Purpose and Justification of the Project<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Pre-assigned resources<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Preliminary identification of stakeholders in the project<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Expectations of stakeholders in the project<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Initial description of the Project Deliverables<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Project premises<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Project Restrictions<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Preliminary Procedure for Acceptance of Deliverables<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Detected risks that may impact the project.<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Budget assigned to the project<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>For the Project Charter to be valid, it must be signed by the project sponsor.<\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=&#8221;4.9.10&#8243; _module_preset=&#8221;default&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>Author:<\/b> Juan David Casta\u00f1eda S\u00e1nchez<\/p>\n<p class=\"p2\">\n<p class=\"p1\"><b>About the Author:<\/b><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Mr. Casta\u00f1eda is an Electrical Engineer from the National University of Colombia and a Business Specialist from the ICESI University.
